As part of the current cohort of the “Inklupreneur program”, we take responsibility for equality and inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace.

Disability can affect anyone. This is another reason why we at Experience One want to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities in the workplace and remove potential barriers as part of the “Inklupreneur Program”—in our minds, in the workplace and on our digital channels.

Therefore we want to identify blind spots and take a close look at workplace design, as well as the accessibility of our website. Because although we ensure website accessibility in many customer projects, even with certified experts, we can also be even more sensitive as a team and company in our day-to-day dealings with one another.

In order to reduce fears about the topic of disability among our employees and to develop understanding, almost 60 participants were able to get to know people with visible and invisible disabilities and to hear their very personal stories on the topic of inclusion in the world of work at a “Disability Awareness Workshop” by Inklupreneur.

Together we want to create an environment in which everyone can develop their full potential—whether without or with a disability.

The “Inklupreneur” project to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities by Hilfswerft GmbH aims to encourage and enable companies to develop and implement their own inclusion concepts. What started as an experiment in Berlin in 2021 is now a program funded by the Berlin State Office for Health and Social Affairs. In exchange with other companies in the community and supported by mentors with disabilities, we work to live equality and inclusion at Experience One.
